With the average operating cost per liter on the model 28 at $0.05, and the larger models powered with solar energy at $0.00, this is a significant savings over the cost of bottled water with other methods or sources.
The larger model can either be mounted to your roof top or behind your facility, or can be placed on a trailer to easily be transported to any location. This feature is logistically useful to cities/municipalities when a disaster strikes; to construction sites where large numbers of workers need water to be kept hydrated; to rural and remote areas where workers or servicemen need to be kept hydrated. Logistically, transporting one EcoloBlue™ unit to a site and leaving it in place to hydrate the personnel for a given period of time, versus continuously transporting bottled water by many trucks while consuming personnel time, multiple truck transports, gas expenditures, not to mention the pollution factor caused by all of this.
