The Save-A-Limb Fund was established in order to provide funds needed for children from around the world suffering from congenital or developmental limb deformities. The fund seeks to provide assistance with the cost of surgery as well as the costs associated with surgery, such as travel and lodging for the parents from any US state or country they may come from. It is our hope to build this fund into an endowment that will allow the International Center for Limb Lengthening to provide these services on a case-by-case basis.
Henri-James Tieleman Co-founder and President of EcoloBlue Life & Energy is inviting you to visit the website www.paleyinstitute.org, where you can find detailed information on the Fund and the miracles that Dr. Paley is performing every day. Henri-James is one of Dr. Paley’s former patients who saved his right leg from amputation. Henri-James caught a staph infection during hospitalization for a complex tibia fracture. Several medical doctors advised Henri-James, that the only solution was amputation. Through a GOOGLE search, his wife found Dr. Dror Paley of Sinai Hospital. Dr. Paley saved Henri-James’s leg and today enjoys playing tennis again with his own leg!
EcoloBlue™ Life & Energy wants to raise the awareness internationally and allow children and adults from around the world to have an alternative. According to statistics 1 in 15 children are born with congenital limb deformities worldwide and 1 in 125 in the US. While most Doctors around the world would recommend AMPUTATION as a medical solution to many of these patients, Dr. Dror Paley developed new surgical procedures to reconstruct these legs and arms and give these children and adults, near normal function to live normal lives. Therefore, by raising awareness and funds, we can indeed offer financial support for children from around the world to have an alternative option.
